Our Selling Process
5 steps to selling your home
Step 1:
Connection
Trying to sell a house in Toronto can be quite the process, which means we’re going to be spending a lot of time together. We like to spend time chatting with you to get to know you and your desires.
Then we would love to get a tour of your home and learn about any work that has been done over the years. We’ll then be able to discuss how much your home is worth in today’s real estate market before focusing on what needs to be done to get it market-ready.
Step 2:
Roadmap
Now it’s time to plan the best way to sell your home! We will have a designer visit your home to discuss staging, repairs, painting and whatever else needs done to show off your home to its best advantage.
We’ll then share our plan with you, and agree on a budget and timeline for completing it.
Step 3:
Action
We know you’re busy, so don’t worry too much about finding the time for prep. Our professional services group will start the process of ensuring your home looks its best and impresses both real estate agents and their clients.
Step 4:
Listing
Once your home is prepped, it’s officially time to list it! We’ll take high quality photos and videos for social media and marketing, which will help us get your home in front of the right people.
We’ll also continue to keep you updated, and stay in touch with the interested buyers’ agents. Our goal is to convert interest to buying. It is important to recognize today’s market to assess how quickly your property may sell.
Step 5:
Offer time
Once you’ve accepted the offer, we need to ensure that all of the conditions of the offer are met before the sale is closed with the help of your lawyer. We need to ensure that you are moved out of the property in plenty of time for its new owners and that the keys have been handed off.
We’ll be sure to keep in touch to make sure you’re settling into your new home, and to help out any way we can in the future.
